Does this actually do anything, or is it just a gimmick?
It causes an involuntary muscle contraction, and you will feel it within about ninety seconds of turning it on. It is not subtle. What it will not do is replace training, and we are not going to tell you otherwise. It does the muscle work on the days you cannot get to the gym.
Will it hurt or burn?
Thirty intensity levels, and you start at one. Burns on cheap belts come from dry pads at high intensity on a first session. Dampen the pads, start low, and you control the dial the whole time.
Is it safe? Who should not use it?
For most people, yes. Do not use Nuvrillo if you have a pacemaker or any implanted electronic device, are pregnant or think you might be, have a diagnosed or suspected heart condition or epilepsy, have metal implants in the treatment area, have broken or irritated skin or reduced sensation there, or have cancerous lesions there. When in doubt, ask your doctor first. Nuvrillo is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
Can I use it postpartum?
Most women start after their six-week clearance. Ask your provider first, especially if you have pain or a diagnosed condition.
Can I use it with an IUD?
Nuvrillo is external, so nothing is inserted. It is still worth a quick word with your provider.
So I still have to work out?
It works best alongside movement, and it works at all on the days you do not move. That is the honest version, and it is why people are still using it three months in rather than leaving it in a drawer.
How do I wash them?
Remove the controller and the shorts can be hand or machine washed. The gel pads are the only part you replace over time.
