Does this actually do anything, or is it just a gimmick?

Fair question, and the category earned it. The honest answer: it produces an involuntary muscle contraction you feel within about ninety seconds of turning it on. That part is not subtle. What it does not do is replace training, and we will not pretend otherwise. It does the muscle activation on the days you cannot get to the gym.

I already did the squats for years and nothing changed. Why would this be different?

Because effort was probably never the problem. A muscle that sits quiet for nine hours a day gets recruited last or not at all, so your work goes into the muscles around it instead. Nuvrilo stimulates the muscle directly, so it fires whether or not it would have volunteered. It is a different lever, not more of the same one.

Will it hurt? Will it burn?

Thirty intensity levels, and you start at one. Burns come from dry pads at maximum intensity on a first session. Dampen the pads, keep them flat to the skin, start low, and raise the dial only to a firm contraction. You control it the whole time.

Does anything go inside me?

No. Nuvrilo is a pair of shorts. Nothing is inserted, nothing slides, nothing to position.

Can I use it after having a baby?

Most women start after their six-week clearance. If you have pain, a diagnosed pelvic floor condition, or prolapse, talk to your provider first. Please read the safety page.

Can I use it with an IUD?

Nuvrilo is external, so nothing is inserted. Still worth a quick word with your provider.

So do I still have to work out?

It works best alongside movement, and it works at all on the days you do not. That is the honest version, and it is why people are still using it three months in.

What if it does nothing for me?
